SUPER MARATHON FISHING

1 DAY OVERNIGHT TRIP- 11PM – 9PM THE NEXT DAY

Our super marathon is a 1 day overnight trip. This trip is specifically designed for a small group of serious fishermen to get out to Fippennies Ledge, approximately 60 miles east of Gloucester. We depart the dock by 11 pm, and cruise for about 6.5 hours. We try to be set up by sunrise, then fish until around 2pm.

We only put 13 people on board for these trips, so the boat feels empty. We fish in depths from 220ft to 320 ft of water. Braided line definitely presents an advantage in the deeper water. 12 to 16 oz jigs and 16 to 20 oz sinkers are the preferred weights.
